Quotation of the day, found in newspaper part I

I got two free newspapers over the weekend, and found fodder for three posts. First:

Yes, that's right, it was the greatest invention of them all! The aeroplane, the computer, insulin, the eradication of smallpox, development of MRI and other medical technologies, antibiotics, space technology, developments in farm technology, radio, television, the development of the mass production of cars, even The Bomb- are no match in their impact on the life on our planet as the little pill that gives men and women the power to fornicate without consequences- with the possible exception of crabs, the clap, syphilis, herpes, Aids....
