Curt Jester reports that the Hobbit is going to be made into a movie. Peter Jackson, the director of the Lord of the Ring movies will be the executive producer, but not the director. Apparently there will be two Hobbit movies, the first to be released in 2010 and the sequel in 2011.
I know that many of the Catholic bloggers loved the LOTR movies greatly. I wonder sometimes if I am the only one who wasn't particularly blown away by them. I loved the books- they are high among my favourites- so I suppose I was bound to be disappointed by the movies.
