The kids are alright

One final post about Britain's Got Talent, which seems to be the flagship and most successful version of the brand: the winners were Ashley and Pudsy, a trained dog act; second place, Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli, about whom  have written a few times; third place, Only Boys Aloud, a Welsh vocal choir, about whom I have written once. The amazing thing about all these acts is that the oldest among them is nineteen, with the exception of the choir director and Pudsy, should you calculate his age in dog years.  These are all kids.

Sometimes, when I see things like this, the future doesn't appear quite so dark.
