One quick question...

...and then back to silence. Is a Mass at 9:00 in the morning on Christmas Day Mass at Dawn or Mass during the Day? Anybody know? My wife thinks it is Mass during the day, but I want to make sure. I'm singing and I need to get the right set of propers.

It's Mass in the day :)

My Dearest:
I don't THINK it's during the DAY, I know it's during the day. Mass at dawn is, well, at DAWN

Mass at Dawn focuses on the rising sun. The sun isn't rising at 9a.m. It's already risen and shining.

Puff: Yeah, and Midnight Mass is Supposed to be at Midnight, not ten or eleven. Your point?

Is there a Mass before the 9 AM one? If so, then use the Mass in the Day. If not, then I'd say to use either. That said, I think the Mass in the Day has excellent readings.

Bro AJK brought up something I hadn't considered. Even the readings are different. Propers have to agree with not the time so much as with the mass Father celebrates. The person with the authority to decide which mass will be celebrated at that time will be Father Joe. Ask him.

I deleted my snark. Especially since I was no longer so sure.
