We really need to explain to some people....

...the meaning of the word 'dialogue'.

To quote the immortal Inigo Montoya:  You keep using that word.  I don't think it means what you think it means."

It goes like this: Dialogue means at least two people talking- and, more importantly, listening- to each other.  Each side shares their views in an effort to come to a greater understanding of each other.

However, if what you mean when you say 'dialogue' is more along the lines of "Shut up while I talk, and then just agree with me," that is not a dialogue at all.  It's a lecture, and I am sick of being summoned to lectures under the guise of being invited to 'dialogue'.
