When last I updated on this, my quasi brother in law is still alive, and, more to the point, the doctors have determined he is strong enough to go on modified chemo.
Mother asked her priest for a Mass of Thanksgiving for the graces that my BIL has been given. The Mass was to be held last Wednesday, and my mother and sister wee going to attend. Shortly before my sister was to pick up my mother, she got a phone call from my sister. My BIL, who, despite everything is very sick, also wanted to attend the Mass. He felt that he should be giving thanks as well.
It was a small step, but a good step for all that. Please continue praying for the man.
