I've just found out an old family friend died yesterday. He was actually the man who introduced my mother and father to each other. He was a good Catholic, and his heart was never far from the Church. He always looked forward to the re institution of the old rite, the extraordinary form. I offered to take him to an indult Mass years ago, but he was too ill to go.
His family always took care to prepare for everything and make sure everything was ready on time, to the point that the tombstone over family plot already has his and his surviving sisters' names on it, with only the final date to be filled in.
Please pray for the repose of his soul.
