Whatever else you wish to say about Francis, he's got guts. Here he is warning the mafia that they will go to hell if they don't repent and change their lives. This in a country where the mafia murders priests who speak out against them.
In other news from Rome comes the way cool news that the Vatican has agreed to allow a Japanese firm to digitize 82,000 manuscripts. I cannot wait.
In the meantime, pray for the Pope. There are those who do not take such criticism kindly.
