For those of you who like to rate cardinals and such, sorry, can't help you. I try to avoid such things. Besides, I never really knew what to make of the man. He was hated- venomously-by the liberals for being too conservative and was hated- also venomously- by the conservatives for being too liberal.
But the main point of this post is that he is now eighty. Toronto archdiocese no longer has a voting cardinal. Does this mean Archbishop Thomas Collins will be elevated to the college soon?
Hmmm... If it does happen, and someone wants to have a drink or two in celebration, the bar menu writes itself.
