On the subject of why we should just forget celebrities, perhaps after locking them up

As a measure of just how far afield our society has wandered, Woody Allen, famous for his movies and for seducing his possibly underage adopted daughter, has come out in support of Roman Polanski, famous for his movies and for drugging and raping an underage girl, pleading guilty of said crime, and then fleeing the country to avoid incarceration for said crime following said confession.  Nary an eyebrow has been raised as an incestuous pederast has shown his support for a raping pederast.
