...the meaning of the word 'dialogue'.
To quote the immortal Inigo Montoya: You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means."
It goes like this: Dialogue means at least two people talking- and, more importantly, listening- to each other. Each side shares their views in an effort to come to a greater understanding of each other.
However, if what you mean when you say 'dialogue' is more along the lines of "Shut up while I talk, and then just agree with me," that is not a dialogue at all. It's a lecture, and I am sick of being summoned to lectures under the guise of being invited to 'dialogue'.
