I sang at Mass this morning. I completely butchered the communion antiphon. I was doing it competently when practicing, but when the time came I sang the first two notes, lost the flow and never found it again. Unfortunately, today's antiphon was a comparatively long one. I considered just dropping out in the middle, but I kept going and managed to recover a little by the end. Still, it was not good.
On the other side, the priest asked if I could learn Arcadelt's Ave Maria and sing it sometime. It's not really a solo piece, but it is possible to do it as such. Here's the piece for those who aren't familiar.
