God bless him. What a tragic situation. I will pray for him. Please ask him to offer up his sufferings on behalf of children who suffer so much in our godless world. His suffering, united to Christ's, is so powerful. He can do much good and who needs more help than children today. Tell him we are all passing through this world together, and we need him. Sooner or later we are all going home, but not until Jesus calls us home like a father calls in his children playing outside. God, be with those struggling with illness, perhaps lonely. Be especially close to them, and give them consolations reserved for the suffering faithful, amen.
