Younger speaks

Today at the dinner table Younger (age 5) and I had the following conversation:

Bear: What did you do at school today?

Younger: Learn.

Bear: What did you learn?

Younger: I don't know. I forgot.

Later I was giving her an organ lesson when I congratulated her on how well she did.

Bear: You learned an entire song in one night! How cool is that?

Younger: Ummm... very?

I love my daughters so. I am a better man for having them in my life.

The first week of school almost done!

Younger was very sad on Tuesday to find out that her boyfriend G. was not in her class this year, and that she wouldn't see him in the after noon. Also not in her class are her BFF's: A and J.

Today she was stillupset about A and J not being in her class, but apparently G has been replaced as her boyfriend by E.

Did I ever mention Younger is in Senior Kindergarten?
