Worst pun I've heard in years

I've been reading a book about Charles II- why not- and read yesterday a passage where the author explains how Charles liked to bring a select group of fops with him wherever he went, so they could entertain him with their intelligent and humorous conversation. The author quipped: "He liked to keep his wits about him."
