To any Americans out there

A fact, then a question:

First, the fact: The Canadian Government has set aside eleven million dollars for events commemorating the bicentennial of the War of 1812.

Now, the question:  What annoys you more:  the fact that after two hundred years we're still doing a victory dance, or the fact that we have an extra eleven million lying around to blow on a party?

Chuckle. Some guys I knew wanted to make the anniversary of the burning of the White House in 1814 a national holiday. I know some Americans who would like us to go down there and burn it down again.

All I have to say is that this puts Canada in the same box as Vietnam--one of the few Countries to defeat the American Military! So Party on Dudes!

As to burning the white house--I'd rather it was congress that got burned out....
