Back into isolation

I woke up yesterday with a sore throat and a slight cough.  Normally, I would have gone into work anyway, but, under the current situation, I was told to get tested for Covid and isolate myself (as well as my family who need to isolate along with me but somehow not with me) until my test results come in.   A pain in the neck, to be sure, but trivial compared to what others are going through.

On the upside, I now have some more time to work on history walks, some woodworking in the garage, etc.  The garage is pretty much isolated.

So true, now a cold makes one feel a bit of panic. But colds still happen in a world of Covid. Keep telling yourself their has been a lot of nonsense spoken about this virus. I have read multiple stories about very old people who had it and it barely registered. A lady I just read about was 90-something, and thought she had a cold. It's not an unusual story now.
Take Vitamin C and D if you have it, and take an aspirin if you can. Aspirin has anti-inflammatory aspects, and is a blood thinner.
Keep us posted. You'll soon be fine. God be with you.
