Prayer request

The doctors have told us that anyone wishing to see Puff's father one more time should go see him now.  We managed to get him last rites on Monday.  If anyone can say a prayer or two for him, it would be deeply appreciated.

I am sorry to hear that he is doing so poorly. You can be assured that he is in my prayers. May the Lord be with you all in a special way during this trying time.

He seems to float in and out of consciousness.

He doesn't really wake up, but sometimes he will react to stimulae, like pinching his toes, sometimes he doesn't.

Sorry to hear this. I'll pray for him and the family at my holy hour tonight.

Thank you for your prayers.

I don't understand how or why, but he woke up today.

It was early in the morning, and no family member was there. He didn't know where he was and he tried to "escape". They had to restrain him.

He alternates between telling anecdotes from his youth - to crying for his mother- to asking God to help him- to saying he feels ill as though he is "finished" or "spent"

He begged my brother-in-law to take him home. He begged my sister and me to sneak him some food and he promised not to tell the nurses so that we wouldn't get into trouble.

In a very real sense, he has become the three year old he was when his own mother died.

How hard this must be to watch. May the Lord pour his consolations upon you all. My heart goes out to you.

I'm deeply sorry to hear of this - he, as well as you and your family, will be in my prayers at Easter Mass.

We're sad to read of this, Puff. We have just prayed a chaplet for him.

He has rallied. He should be coming home tomorrow. I don't know what else to say. as far I am concerned it is a miracle.

This apparently is the result of a bladder infection.

Go figure.
