Progress has been glacially slow, and I am about to get to work on some other comissions, so progress will slow even more for the next little while. I hope to have the woodwork done by Advent, and I am so very close.
I use the word "glacially" in the above paragraph to remind myself that even slow progress can lead to great things. After all, the glaciers creeped down this way at a snail's pace, and yet they still managed to bury my neck of the woods in an ice sheet two miles thick. I suppose I could also invoke Aesop's fabulous tortoise and hare, but I am in a race with no one but myself.
